Crosso Warranty

By default, all of our products are covered by a 24-month warranty by operation of law. In accordance with Article 558 § 1 of the Polish Civil Code, it covers the seller’s liability towards the buyer if the sold item has a physical defect.

In the case of Crosso products, the warranty covers:

    • non-conformity of the item sold with the description on the product card in our store,
    • lack of product properties that the seller informed the buyer about on the product card when concluding the purchase,
    • the buyer receiving an incomplete item or one with a physical defect;

The warranty for defects gives the customer the right to demand free repair, replacement of the item with a new one, reduction or refund of the price.

How to extend guarantee for Crosso products?

To extend the above statutory protection period, we offer our customers an extended guarantee:

    • five years from purchase for products made of Cordura,
    • three years from purchase for products made of coated fabric,
    • five years for bicycle racks;

Those wishing to take advantage of the extended guarantee must complete the form at the bottom of this page to register their newly purchased product. You can register products purchased from January 1, 2024 onwards in the extended guarantee program.

What does the guarantee cover?

Our extended guarantee is valid from the date of purchase and covers any defects resulting from faulty or improper processing of materials during the manufacturing process. If the product is replaced under the terms of the warranty, the date of original purchase will still be considered as the reference date for the warranty period.

What is not covered by the guarantee?

The guarantee does not cover material abrasions, holes or tears caused by improper handling of the product, e.g. cutting with a sharp tool or nail, cigarette burn, damage during a fall or road accident. Crosso is not responsible for any claims related to wear due to improper use of the product, failure to follow the assembly instructions, assembly modifications to the product or improper storage of the product.

Difference between “Rękojmia” and “Gwarancja” in Polish law

Same as in English words “guarantee” and “warranty”, in Polish terms “gwarancja” and “rękojmia” has a different meaning and play an important role in everyday business. They are both very often confused and used incorrectly. Their meanings, however, are not identical in both languages.

We want to be very clear so please pay attention to the following:

    • In Polish, a “rękojmia” is guaranteed by law to customers and a “gwarancja” is offered voluntarily by manufacturers and/or retailers.
    • According to the “rękojmia”, the customer may complain about defective goods for up to 24 months.
    • Within the “gwarancja”, Crosso has the right to repair goods or, if this is not possible, will issue an exchange.
    • A “gwarancja” can in no case reduce or replace the “rękojmia”.

How to file a warranty claim?

If you have a reason to file a warranty claim, go to the Warranty Claim Form and follow the instructions there. If you have any additional questions, please call or write to us.
